Turath D’hont featured in Forbes
We are proud to share that Turath D’hont, Co-owner of San Diego Moving Company has been featured in the Forbes Media. Forbes Media has been in business for over a hundred years and is a global media, branding and technology company, with a focus on news and information about business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership, and affluent lifestyles.
After reading Atomic Habits by James Clear, D’hont was inspired to take note of her own habits. In his book, Clear defines success as “the product of daily habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations.” D’hont being a busy mom of four and a business owner was struck by this statement. Perhaps her life felt chaotic because her habits weren’t as streamlined or effective as they could be. She decided to put it to the test and started making changes to her daily habits.
D’hont made a list of all of her habits and started tweaking or stacking them to make for a more efficient workday. She knew some of the changes would be hard at first but she also knew the outcome would be beneficial for everyone, including herself. It certainly isn’t easy juggling a life full of children, home, marriage, work, and self, but it is most fulfilling when all of our boxes are checked and we feel like everything is under control. Balance is something many strive for and if adjusting out habits can get us there then it is worth a shot.
